What is Cost per Conversion?

Cost Per Conversions is the total cost of generating traffic divided by the total number of conversions. It is is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement. Note that the cost includes all traffic during which conversions were measured, including traffic during that time that didn't lead to a conversion. The CPA can be determined by different factors, depending where the online advertising inventory is being purchased. It is also known as Cost Per Action or CPA (sometimes known as Pay Per Action, PPA, or Pay Per Click, PPC).
